Description
Application
Ammonit is relatively low cost explosive, suitable for use in small and medium diameter drill holes. It is used extensively in quarries and construction works where soft or rocks of medium degree of hardness exist. Because of the lack of nitroglycerine or nitroglycol, they are safer in use. Powder explosives are sensitive to moisture and is not recommended for use in wet conditions. It can be initiated by a No.8 plain detonator.
Packaging
Ammonit is delivered in plastic film cartridges.
All cartridges are placed in corrugated board cases of 25 Kg net weight.

Storage
Ammonit should be handled, stored and used according to the national laws and regulations. It should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Storage up to+40oC is safe.
Ammonit is sensitive to moisture.
Provided that storage conditions are appropriate, it is recommended to use Ammonit within 12 months.
Product shelf life expansion can be verified after examined by the supplier.
